2017 station maintenance log

• Dec 11 - I basically finished up a CW keyer box project that will be used in the rover. This box consists of the K1EL keyer plus an extra rotary switch and an awful lot of sockets allowing it to be used on multiple radios. Here’s a couple pictures:

I accidentally wired the paddle connector up backwards so dits were on the right and dahs on the left, but that’s easily fixed in software. I still need to test the outputs to the radios and probably apply some labels so I remember what the connectors do and which radio the rotary switch is pointing at.

• Nov 22 - Spent some time fixing CW support in my logging program so it’s ready for CQ WW CW this weekend. Tried to get a couple DX CW contacts via computer so I’m ready for the contest, too.
