Since getting back into hiking, I wanted to get above tree line. Once we got above tree line on this hike, the clouds rolled in and we stayed in them most of the rest of the day. We got turned around at some point up high and ended up off trail, taking us to JQ Adams by mistake.

The heat and humidity caused problems for several people in the group. I was definitely not prepared for the difficulty of this hike, especially given how easy I thought the last one was.

This was my first hike in the White Mountains (and my first real hike of any length since Blood Mountain, whenever that was). I thought it was very easy, which would get me into trouble on the next hike.
